Design and Print Your Own Repeating Pattern on a Cushion

Are you seeking an interesting creative activity to do in the evening? Looking to learn about surface pattern design? Look no further! Let's handprint some beautiful cushions. 

This workshop will teach you how to make a smooth repeating pattern (without having to use a computer!) with lino printing. We will create a design, convert it into a 4-way repeat pattern, cut it on softcut lino and place it onto a plain cushion cover.

What to expect:

- A warm and welcoming creative environment with Shannon as your host

- All equipment provided (lino cutting tools, paint, cushion covers, cutting mats etc)

- Light refreshments to keep you hydrated (soft drinks, water, tea)

- Leave with a beautifully printed cushion cover!

If you have already had a go at lino printing before this will be the perfect next step for you. Total beginners are also very welcome! All you need is a rough idea of what you'd like to print and we can go from there.
